- Shabbetai ben Meir ha-Cohen (Cohen, Shabbetai; Shak)
- (1621-62)Lithuanian rabbi. He was born in Amstivov near Vilkaviskis, and became dayyan in the bet din of Moses Lima in Vilna. He published Siphte Kohen, a commentary on Yoreh Deah. The alternative name, Shak, by which he was known, is derived from the initials of the title Siphte Kohen.
